Professional Biography
Mr. Hahn joined Smith|Hartvigsen in 2003 where his
primary areas of focus have been redevelopment, water
rights, and property issues. Prior to joining the
Firm, Mr. Hahn worked as a contract historian for the Museum
of Art at Washington State University and at the Nez Perce
National Historical Park museum. He worked for two
years as a patron services archivist for the Utah State
Archives where he specialized in property records.
Mr. Hahn resided in Washington State, where he worked as a
teaching assistant in the Department of History. His
work was emphasized by his education in public history.
As a result, he gained extensive experience as a researcher
by performing research at the National Archives in
Washington, D.C. and Seattle, Washington, and several city,
county, state, and university archives.

Master of Arts degree in History, with an emphasis in public
history and Native American history Washington State
University, 1996
Bachelor of Arts in History, cum laude, Weber State
University, with departmental honors and an Archaeological
Technician Certificate, 1993
Interests
Mr. Hahn Brian volunteers extensively in community theater
and with the Boy Scouts of America as a scoutmaster and an
advisor in the Order of the Arrow.
